I have been very busy with life for a few weeks, we have had extra grandchildren in the house. My sewing room became bedroom to a 16 year old grandson who sleeps like a hibernating bear! I haven’t had the time or energy to go in there and “work” since he got here. Now that he is gone, I have been in once (in three days) to try to find the bottom of the cutting and sewing tables and to put my computer on charge where it belongs!

Shane (hubby) asked me how many sets of quilt instructions I wrote while our grandson was here… believe it or not, I have FIVE quilts written and ready to cut and sew on my cutting table. I have one cut so I can start sewing on that one. I designed one on my birthday (Birthday Beauty) that I can’t wait to share with you. He and our daughter (youngest) threw a surprise birthday party for me Saturday… I am one blessed and loved lady. It was just what I needed just when I needed it. AND the cake topper is gorgeous! Look at that quilt block, tri-recs pieces in there and it’s set on point, what could be better!!

Now back to the sewing room to “play” for a while… Can’t wait to share these with you…
