So Much Fun
It is Labour Day here in New Zealand. Most have the day off and are enjoying our lovely spring weather. It has been a very mild winter with spring looking to be warm and summer just gorgeous. My cherry and magnolia trees have already bloomed and are into their leafy beauty.
As I look forward to the next couple weeks, I see a couple of finishes in our studios. We will finish Look to the Stars soon. Adjusting My Focus (our monthly mystery) will finish as well. We will also be starting our Christmas quilt and Classic Vintage, our un-mystery sew-along. We will also be starting a new mystery soon, but I am thinking to put that one off for a wee while as we will have so many projects going. Shane (hubby) says it’s time to print another book! He says I have too many projects ready for you, “time to print”.
Speaking of printing, we have sold over 2,000 copies of the books. THANK YOU! I am so excited to think there could be a forth book very soon! I can’t wait to decide which of these beauties to put in the next book and which ones to put on the website. You can find all three books (so far) on Amazon.
I design in the evenings while Shane watches his favourite crime shows. I played with a new design last week and have already written the cutting instructions and pulled fabrics from my stash. This is so fun and I love this journey. We (Mystery Quilts Anonymous) started the FB group on 4 July 2018. Look how far we’ve come and how much fun we’ve had. If I had to do it all over, I wouldn’t change any of the journey as I grew and became better with your challenges and encouragement.
Here’s a sneak peek at the fabrics for the new project…
