Looking Forward

As I sit here at 10:00pm New Years Eve 2021 looking forward to 2022, there are so many things I want to share with you. I have so many new projects ready for you. I have some “training” videos on the docket to record for you and at least two sew-along projects organized.

Last thing I did for 2021 in the studio was CLEAN! I cleaned the sewing machine, the cutting table, the “office” area, I even vacuumed the dust from under the machines! I am so excited for everything coming up, I wanted to start with a clean slate. Everyone in the house can’t remember the last time it was this clean…Hubby says since I “took over” the room four years ago!

New Year’s Eve 2021

With my current projects’ fabrics on the right of my cutting table and the inspiration fabrics in the “corner”, I am so excited to start the new year with you. The calendar and quilt journal is all ready to go! So excited for next year! One of my goals is to post more “musings” for you and to keep you in the studio more. I LOVE sewing with you, feels like “home”. Another goal is to keep you in the loop with new quilt designs and processes. I can’t wait!!!

See you in the morning when we go live via YouTube and do our 2022 New Year’s Day Quilt. Happy New Year my friends, may your year be full of God’s bountiful blessings.

And HAPPY NEW YEAR to you too Debi!! I’d hoped to have everything cleaned up, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. At least I have the major spot I sew done – not the dreaded sewing room though!

I appreciate you and the hard work you do to offer us such a broad array of patterns each year! I don’t sew everyone, but I get several done each year. 2021 was bad for sewing, so I sewed less than usual. My hands were swollen and sore for quite a long time over the summer. Still can’t really use my rotary cutter as that hurts, but I can use the scissors (carefully!).

    Love, Sally

  2. Happy New Year my friend! Can’t wait to see all you do!

It is quite a lot to complete in one day! I had to stop as well, got way too hot and my brain gave up. Maybe we can be sewing at the same time today, who knows!

Happy New Year to you too Debbie. After reading about quilts and making some of your designs over the past 2 years, it feels like I know you although we are worlds apart. You helped keep my sanity as well as others on this site. Thank you so very much for being out there for us. I will take some photos of the quilts I have done of yours and post them later today. Thank you so very much and Bless You.
