Musings (Blog) One WAY

Better Today

I don’t know about you, but WOW! I didn’t see that coming. I expected jet lag which wasn’t too bad for this trip. I was tired and my feet were grapefruits (if you’ve seen me, I am a really tiny person and this was so out of character). The feet took two days to feel relief… once they were better I started coughing, then a tummy bug and it spiraled out of control from there. We flew home from the USA one week ago. The total trip was about 40 hours. I guess I picked up a bug along the way. Shane didn’t get it as bad, but we both caught it. Three negative tests meant it wasn’t the dreaded virus. I still have a very wet (green gook) cough, but the fever seems to have subsided for now.

Yesterday I finally got out of bed to work on the Christmas quilt. I am so excited for this one. I picked my fabrics today after writing all the cutting instructions last night. I am feeling better today, but I will continue to look after myself, working in little bits at a time. I hope to get clues 1 and 2 out to you within the next couple of days. I will update the clue here on the website to include my fabrics for you.

Don’t forget, I am returning to the USA in September 2024, please book in NOW to get your week/weekend choice. 12-14 September is already booked in Cincinnati. Montana and Tennessee have also asked to re-book… get in soon… the calendar is filling. I will keep you posted with the itinerary so you can try to schedule your trip as soon as possible.
