Better Day!
The computer went to the shop today (Monday) and I am really excited to get it back. I am not sure what is wrong with it, but very thankful for our daughter and her willingness to loan me her computer. We all have apple products, so I could bring everything down from the cloud and be almost ready to go. I have some photo and software issues, but otherwise back in business. I know I will have to do this again when my computer comes home, but I’m resting a bit more comfortably for now.
If you know me, I don’t share much of the non-upbeat side of my life…if it isn’t good, why share it? But the last few months, maybe a year, have been the hardest on me I think, in my entire life. I have been battling virus after virus and their side effects. I got to a very low point emotionally and am working my way out of the pit holding on to the rope knot by knot. I am so much better this week. The thing that makes me most happy (aside from my amazing husband and family) is US! I look forward to seeing what we are doing every day.
I am working on our classes, new mysteries, the website, and myself. This keeps me very busy and gives me a reason to get out of bed! THANK YOU! Thank you for listening, thank you for being there, thank you for being my friends. I can’t wait to take our next steps on this journey TOGETHER.
Here’s another pic of Flanked Lace so you can see why I named it that!! I’ll have the requirements out to you reasonably soon so we can work together!

Glad things are going better and you are feeling better, life can so hard sometimes , and I like to think that sewing helps it does for me ,,again glad things are on the up side.
I told my hubby yesterday I know a lot of the issues are because I haven’t been to “therapy” (my sewing room) as much recently as I need to! It’s very true, sewing truly helps. Thank you for your love and care.
Glad you are feeling better and that you felt you could share.
Thank you for listening and being there. ♥️
Praying you will be feeling better soon! Thanks for all you do! 🙏
Thanks for being here with me! ♥️
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I had the same experience with covid, no energy, just did not want to do anything. Now I am getting out of the rut and am feeling better. Hope your recover progresses. Thanks for the wonderful patterns. God Bless.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and care. I am feeling better just knowing I’m not in alone. ♥️
So glad you are feeling better — miss seeing you out here with us — you are our inspiration! I’ve been with you since the beginning — LOVE seeing everything you create – I’ve done several, but life keeps getting in the way of my doing more at this time. Praying for continuing healing!! Hang in there – we are all here for you as you are here for us!!
We can do this! I’m so excited and feeling so much better and loved. ♥️❤️♥️
Sorry you have had so much on your plate but oh so pleased to hear that you are feeling better. My son and his wife suffered from longterm covid for a few months and thankfully they are finally back to feeling normal. I know you will soon be feeling your best and all this will be behind you. Hugs and prayers!
You are so kind and encouraging, thank you so so much. 🥰
I’m so glad you are doing better! I hope in the near future we will be able to collaborate on some paper piecing projects… Please take care of yourself!
Happy Piecing,
Sam
Hopefully I’ll be sending you some ideas soon!
So glad you are doing better Debi. I am looking forward to the Star of the Show and this new Flanked Lace looks really fun. I just finished Stardust for my daughter and posted the pictures on FB. It’s currently being longarm. I have several other projects (2 great grandbaby jellyroll quilts, 4table runners & 4college quilt throws) to get off my list of things to do and then I can get back to another Mystery Quilt in about 3-4 weeks. This next one will be for a grandson. In the meantime, I hope you continue to recover from this very challenging year. The Lord loves you.
I know if it wasn’t for God’s love, I would be beside myself. Thank you for the encouragement. I designed our monthly mystery to help with the process! (Adjusting My Focus)
Thank you for sharing your blessing of fantastic creativity to those of us that shave you love of quilting. That means you have blessed thousands and thousands of us who are all connected to you.❤️❤️❤️
